Friendly Location was good for transporting around Blackpool

The shower facility was not good at all -temperature wise and no pressure made trying to have a shower very very difficult.

Bedroom 8 disgusting

Wow what can I say never again but what could I expect for £108 hygiene was absolutely disgusting in room 8 bottle of bleach tin of polish wouldn't of gone amiss net curtain needs throwing out bedding was disgusting I've got photos to prove it also the door had a gap will never stay here again also I wouldn't recommend this to anyone nightmare to be honest it doesn't cost a thing to be clean paid for breakfast but didn't go for it the room said it all for me

Hygiene wasn't to my standard bedding was filthy shower base was disgusting net curtain needs throwing out gap under the door

Great Location

Stayed 3 nights, really good location for what we needed. Both really welcoming and friendly, free parking out the back which is a bonus. Situated just off the main bit and apart from 1 person in the early hours of sunday morning walking down the street we hardly heard any noise. Would definitely be back again.

Only thing i would say was the seals around and in the shower could be re-done.

Fantastic Hosts a home from home

Location is excellent - a stones throw from the beach, attractions and the trams Quiet location on a side street Parking available The hosts are fantastic - very knowledgeable about Blackpool and care about all the guests (many of whom are returning customers) The beds are REALLY comfortable Would recommend and plan to return next year. Good value for money.

Our hosts were very welcoming, taking time to point out local attractions and places of interest. The location of the hotel was about a minutes walk from the sea front and beach

good size room, comfy bed, almost all we wanted was there.

Shower was not working properly, looked like as we were in the top floor room the pressure was dreadful. only had bursts of water every 17 seconds for a few seconds at a time.

What was the highlight of Morrisy House

The Morrisy is the only hotel we book when we go for our short visits to Blackpool. We have always found the rooms to be clean with tea/coffee making facilities and comfortable beds. The new owners have made theme based bedrooms and ours had pictures of the illuminations....nice touch. We always enjoyed a good cooked breakfast served by the owners Leigh and Sue who are really friendly and approachable. The hotel itself has parking and is only a couple of minutes walk to South Pier where, if you have young children, there is an excellent family bar called the Laughing Donkey (or the Giggling Horse as it is known in our family) with entertainment for the kids every night. There is no end of eating places nearby including a Wetherspoons. All in all The Morrisy is a great B&B and we will be back again next year.

Breakfast times are 8.30-9.15 which has good and bad points. Not good for hangovers but at least I was aware that if I wanted the breakfast I would have to be sensible with alcohol the night before. Another plus is that we got to enjoy a FULL day instead of just the afternoon ;-)

Location was fantastic. 2 mins from seafront and south pier and 5 mins from a Wetherspoon and McDonalds

Breakfast not included in the price. Despite being told by the female owner 3 times in less than 2 mins that it was abundantly clear on the website it wasn’t. I’ve still got the email and have tried to book again and at no stage does it say breakfast is not included or you need to pay extra for breakfast. Very poor and a shabby way for a B&B to behave.

Just had 2 nights here sue and Leigh are a lovely couple ..nothing to much trouble ..we had a room right at the top of the hotel you could see the sea ..room and bathroom . nice and clean bed ever so comfortable ..breakfast was basic but good value for money ..close to south pier and pleasure beach and tram for travelling up to the north end of blackpool ..would definitely recommend staying here more than good value for money

The owners Leigh and Sue were very welcoming ,the room was clean ,light and en-suite with plenty of cupboard space ,bed very comfy .Breakfast was plenty andfreshly cooked and the free on-site parking was very usefull.Location ideal for Pleasure Beach and South Shore attractions .Would recommend this Hotel .

Lovely comfy beds, boys loved having two double beds in the room. Spotlessly clean and perfect location. Breakfast was lovely and hosts super friendly. All for an excellent price. Oh and free parking. What more can you ask for?
